Why does my iPad keep dying?

An iPad battery can drain for a whole bunch of different reasons. Sometimes, the solution to your problem is obvious. If you use an app frequently, it will likely consume a lot of your battery. Sometimes, there might even be certain problematic apps consuming a ton of battery even when you’re not using them.

How do I know if I need a new battery for my iPad?

If your battery health is below 85\% then we recommend changing the iPhone or iPad battery. We have seen them go as low as 40\% and at that point, the iPhone will not even stay on for 5 minutes before it shuts off. Speaking of shutting off, that is one of the most common signs that an iPhone battery has gone bad.

Why does my iPad shut off when fully charged?

If the battery capacity is below 80\%, your device might start crashing and shutting down on full charge. Additionally, navigate to Settings, select Battery, and check what apps are eating up your battery. Disable or uninstall them and check if you notice any improvements.

Why is my iPad battery draining quickly?

Open the “Settings” app in iOS

  • Go to “Battery”
  • Wait a moment for the “Insight and Suggestions” section to populate,if you see “Ongoing Restore” then that’s why your battery life is draining much faster than usual
