Why do I feel like a prisoner in my own house?

Probably because you’re in a relationship with a toxic person. You might have painted yourself into a corner by having too many kids or having kids before you were ready. Obviously, somewhere in your recent past you made some decisions without considering the consequences and now you’re feeling stuck.

What does im a prisoner in my own mind mean?

Like engaging a compulsive behavior that you’ve been trying hard to stop. Or impulsively ending a relationship out of anger, hurt or frustration. Or blurting out something mean that you later wish you could take back.
