“Watchmen” was a work of art that was never meant for the screen but a story that was strictly meant to show the greatest strength of the comic book medium. Legendary comic writer Alan Moore wrote a story of such philosophical and political depth never before seen in the comic book genre.

What age is Watchmen appropriate for?

This story takes a lot of maturity to read and understand. I was 16 when it first came out, and I missed a great deal of the story and symbolism in it. I do not recommend anyone under the age of 15 reading this, and then with adults nearby to answer questions.

Did Watchmen get Cancelled?

Damon Lindelof’s HBO series Watchmen was based on the famous graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. The writer-producer says he will not come back for the second season, if there is one.

Why do people hate the Star Wars prequels so much?

The prequels are boring and annoying and soulless, but then so are lots of other movies. The reason everyone should hate them is because they take away from the original trilogy. Before they made the prequels, Anakin Skywalker was a good pilot lured to the dark side of the force.

Why do so many people hate The Godfather movies?

Because they’re not as good as the first trilogy, and the expectations were high. And also because they’re just really bad movies in their own right.

What if Phantom Menace had been the first Star Wars movie?

If Phantom Menace had been the first Star Wars movie made, then it would just be a forgotten-about series of movies by now with only a limited fanbase. A big part of the appeal of the original trilogy was the simple battle between good and evil.

Why do people hate the sequel trilogy so much?

The famous quote goes “ Nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans ”. The sequel trilogy hate serves to prove this statement, a mentality bred through a toxic fandoms goal to bring down anything new by nitpicking every element of each movie.
