Is working for Subway good?

Working at subway was a really great job. Would recommend it to anybody. It’s really easy to learn and fun to do. You get to met a lot of great customers, then some even become regulars.

Is Subway easy job?

The work at subway is easy to learn, and so are the formulas. Only real issues were the management. I would ask for specific days off in advance and a couple days beforehand I would be informed that nobody could cover. It happened multiple times.

Do Subway workers get free food?

Subway only allows half-priced sandwiches for employees, one six-inch for every 4 hours worked. Some owners and managers, however, will allow a free six-inch sandwich, but still only once every four hours worked. Most owners expect employees to pay half price for their meals. This is considered an employee benefit.

Does Subway pay overtime?

For the most part, Subway must pay overtime to non-exempt employees who work more than 40 hours in a week as long as they are not excluded by the FLSA. However, these exemptions become more complicated by some states that have additional laws governing them.

What skills do you learn at Subway?

Requirements include excellent communication skills, the ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed, and good computer skills. The desire to provide guests with exceptional customer service is a must!

How long does Subway take to hire you?

Most applicants only spend a few days waiting for interviews, and the procedure usually wraps up within a week or two. Subway job seekers must first submit an application form to a desired location. Candidates often receive an invite to interview within 12 hours of turning in their papers.

Does Subway pay you for training?

Yes you get paid while being trained at Subway. Yes subway does pay staff when training them, is basically consider as you have the job. Training is a part of your orientation. You get paid for any training or work you will do, just like any other job.
