Is Swachh Bharat mission over?

Phase 1 of the Swachh Bharat Mission lasted till October 2019. Phase 2 is being implemented between 2020–21 and 2024–25 to help cement the work of Phase 1. In English, it translates to “Clean India Mission”. The campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

What is the result of Swachh Bharat mission?

Under the mission, all villages, Gram Panchayats, Districts, States and Union Territories in India declared themselves “open-defecation free” (ODF) by 2 October 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by constructing over 100 million toilets in rural India.

    Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is a great initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to clean Bharat but it failed miserably . But why Swachh Bharat Abhiyan failed, is it because of government? Yes for some parameters it failed because of government but mostly it failed because of the Indian public. The Bystander Effect.
