Why is KYLO Ren and Darth something?

The Sith and the Dark Side are two separate entities, albeit intertwined. The Sith died out with Vader and Palpatine on the Death Star II. Instead, Kylo Ren gets his name from the group of Dark Side worshipers known as the Knights of Ren. He utilizes the Dark Side, but isn’t a Sith.

Is KYLO Ren a good duelist?

Kylo Ren was more analogous to Anakin Skywalker in Ep 2, where he clearly had some training but any master duelist would eventually defeat him. Canonically, Kylo is a capable fighter, though it’s sort of hard to judge him as a duelist. The only Force-Sensitives he’s defeated is Ren and Rey.

How come KYLO Ren wasn’t a Darth?

Unlike the Sith Lords he worshipped, Star Wars’ Kylo Ren never received the “Darth” title. Palpatine, though he influenced Kylo Ren’s development through Snoke, never formally trained Kylo. Rather, he belonged to a very different group that followed the teachings of the Dark Side of the Force: the Knights of Ren.

What is Snoke’s Sith name?

During the time of The Force Awakens, many fans theorized that the next film would reveal Snoke to be Darth Plagueis, the Sith master who taught Palpatine the ways of the dark side.

Do you consider Kylo Ren a Sith?

Palpatine’s return may mean the Sith are threatening the galaxy once again, but it’s important to note that Kylo Ren himself isn’t a Sith. At best, Kylo Ren is a dark Jedi or perhaps a Sith cultist, someone who is drawn to the teachings of the Sith but appears to have just a superficial knowledge of them.

Is Kylo Ren related to Jacen Solo?

Ren’s character arc shares similarities with that of the Star Wars expanded universe character Jacen Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia who threatens the galaxy as a fallen Jedi. Additionally, critics have noted a resemblance between Ren’s character design and that of Revan, the protagonist of Knights of the Old Republic.
