In simple words, NO. Listening to music on headphones at a low volume doesn’t harm ears.

No, unless you’re walking in city traffic, in which case it could be fatal. Listening to low volume sounds by headphone is no different from listening to sounds without them. The only difference is that headphones can be turned up to harmful volumes with very little distortion, so some people listen too loudly without realizing it.
