Is it illegal to keep a beaver as a pet?

The short answer is no, they do not. Besides the fact that it’s illegal in most states to keep Beavers as pets, they are not easy to train or look after and will most likely chew on every wood object that they can find in your home.

The preferred taming food for the Giant Beaver is Galimimus Kibble (see taming guide), followed by Vegetables, and then Mejoberries. Kibble is highly recommended for high-level Beavers as it can take approximately nine hours to tame a level 100 with anything but Kibble versus approximately two hours with.
