Who can participate in CodeChef long challenge?
CodeChef Lunchtime is our signature monthly programming contest from the code kitchen that lasts for 3 hours. Top coders from across the globe compete neck to neck, to grab the best positions. This coding competition is designed for students of high school and middle school though we invite everyone to participate.
Are CodeChef contests hard?
Details: This is the hardest of all. It should be able to challenge the best programmers out there for a 10-day contest. The idea to solve should be hard to come up with even with the knowledge of most advanced algorithms.
Is there any penalty in CodeChef long challenge?
There are no penalties, so you can submit solutions as many times as you want. The time elapsed is not considered. The ties are unresolved. This type of ranklist is typically used in CodeChef Long Challenges.

Which fuel is cheaper CodeChef?
If petrol is cheaper than diesel at the end of Kth month, then print PETROL. If diesel is cheaper than petrol at the end of the Kth month, then print DIESEL. If both the fuels have the same price at the end of the Kth month, then print SAME PRICE.
How much CodeChef pays for problem setting?
$35 : $35 : $50 : $100 : $200 : $175 for each Cakewalk, Simple, Easy, Medium, Hard, Challenge problem respectively. We pay 50\% of the total compensation in advance….Sample Schedule.

What is CodeChef long challenge?
CodeChef Long Challenge is a 10-day monthly coding contest where you can show off your computer programming skills. The significance being – it gives you enough time to think about a problem, try different ways of attacking the problem, read the concepts etc.
How CodeChef rating is calculated?
The sum of E ab for player A over all B, gives the expected rank, ERank, of player A in the contest. Let number of contestants in the given contest be N. And let average rating be R avg . You can check all the ratings and ranks in these pages: CodeChef Ranks – All.
What does 2 Star mean in CodeChef?

How long does it take to get 5 stars in CodeChef?
So nowadays competitive programming has become a trend. Everyone wants to be a good competitive programmer. So I want to share my experience of how I became a 5-star coder at CodeChef in the lockdown period (June to November in just 6 months ).
