How do you hook up a microphone to a sound system?

Connecting your microphone is pretty simple, and all you need to do is follow these easy steps:

  1. Turn off your system before starting.
  2. Plug the microphone into the “mic in” input on your AV receiver.
  3. Providing everything is plugged in and looks correct, turn your system back on and try talking into the microphone.

Why is my radio making a high pitched sound?

Alternator whine is the granddaddy of car stereo noise. Alternator whine will be heard as a high pitched whine that will rise and fall with the engine speed. Most of the time this is caused by a poorly chosen ground for a piece of equipment.

What causes engine noise in subwoofer?

This noise indicates that the system either has a bad ground, defective head unit, defective amplifier, bad RCA cables, improper installation, or a problem in the vehicle’s charging system. 2) Turn the gain up on the amplifier until you can hear the engine/alternator noise.
