How do I fix the sticky keys on my Razer BlackWidow?

Note: Remove all other peripherals plugged into the computer except for the primary keyboard and mouse.

  1. Update your keyboard’s firmware.
  2. Update Razer Synapse and make sure your Windows OS has the latest updates.
  3. Remove dirt and other residues on your keyboard or touchpad.
  4. Plug the keyboard directly into the computer.

  1. Remove all keycaps.
  2. Shake keyboard upside down to get the loose bits out (skip this step if you don’t eat near your gear)
  3. Use a soft bristle brush to dislodge any stubborn debris.
  4. Hold keyboard upside down and blast with air (compressed or DataVac)
  5. Replace keycaps.

Pull the keycap out gently from the keyboard using the keycap puller. Use a flathead screwdriver to lift the keycap on larger keys. Nudge any of the curved ends of the attached stabilizer bar outwards. Note: Remove the surrounding keycaps for easier removal and installation.
