They disbanded in December 2018 when their contracts expired and had their last concert in January 2019. Some of the members went back to their original groups while others debuted in new boy bands or went solo.

Are Wanna One coming back?

REUNION. K-pop boy group Wanna One is reuniting after almost three years. Heads up Wannables, the Wanna One reunion we’ve been waiting for is finally happening! According to South Korean news portal Soompi, Wanna One is confirmed to perform at the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which will happen on December 11.

Why did IOI and wanna one disband?

The reason why they disband is because when they did their world tour their management was hoping to follow behind BTS and how they did sold out concerts so they based their sales on that. But when they did that their concerts was not sold out concerts. So they were basically giving the tickets away for free.

Is Wanna One disbanding?

The 11-part K-pop gathering Wanna One will disband after a choice not to broaden its agreement, which finished on 31 December 2018, was made. The gathering made its introduction under Swing Entertainment and CJ E&M in 2017 and delivered its lone collection, 1¹¹=1 (Power of Destiny), in November 2018.

Why is rewanna one disbanding in 2019?

Wanna One is disbanding because it’s just a temporary group. As much as Wannables want the group to stick together, we also respect the contract stating they’d have to go back to their agencies in 2019.

What happened to Wanna One?

According to their agency Swing Entertainment, their contract expired Dec. 31, 2018, though the band was committed to seeing their final performances through which were scheduled into January. Wanna One’s top songs included “Energetic,” “I.P.U.,” “Boomerang,” and “Spring Breeze.”.

When did Wanna One end their contract?

Their contract ended on the 31 st of December, 2018, but their final activity as a group was their last concert on January 24 – 27, 2019. Wanna One was formed through Mnet’s survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2. They were promoted together with a contract of two years.
