Why should I not follow my passion?

Not knowing your passion can be a source of tremendous stress and anxiety. For those who have yet to find it, this advice can make us think there’s something innately wrong with us (there isn’t). It gives the impression that passion should come with ease, organically, or a magical “dream job” is waiting in the wings.

Why do some people never find their passion?

Some people just don’t believe they are capable of doing what needs to be done to create their lives around passion. They don’t believe they are smart enough, creative enough, deserving enough, or good enough. They assume that their perceived limitations will get in the way of living their passion even if they find it.

Should people follow their passions?

When you follow your passion in life, you’re happier overall. You’re more sated with yourself and the decisions that you make, and not weighed down by the common stressors that come along with not doing what you love. Overall, you feel more uplifted and have a far greater piece of mind.

Why is it so hard to find your passion?

We put so much pressure on ourselves to figure it out that we chase every idea out there, or just get overwhelmed and decide we’ll never make it, so what we’re currently doing is going to have to be enough. Another thing that makes it hard to find our passion is that we’re so busy we can’t listen to ourselves.

Can passion be developed?

Developing passion is part of an active process to become a more compelling and emotional person, and requires a proactive approach to living. You can develop a more passionate attitude by doing fun and exciting things, focusing on creativity and using your imagination, and by interacting passionately with others.

Is it too late to find my passion?

The good news is, there’s no expiration period for finding your passion. It doesn’t matter if you’re 40, 50, or even 80 – what’s important is that you keep an open mind that discovering things about yourself is an ongoing, continuous process. Is being passionate a sin?

Passions and thoughts aren’t sin, we sin by our actions . As well, it is what we are passionate and are thinking about that can lead to sin. We are to be one with Christ because he covered our sins , God doesn’t see us as unclean anymore when we remain in Christ.

Are there people with no passion?

Why don’t more people pursue their passions as careers?

Most passions don’t line up well with paying careers. If you’re passionate about poetry or salsa dancing, you’re going to find very limited job opportunities for those things.
