Because there are many differences in manga and anime . like in manga goku killed zamasu with hakai ( techniques of god of destruction ) . the reason he was able to do is he saw beerus did it on his universe’s zamasu ( who was under supreme kai of universe 10 at that time. ) and goku was like this from his childhood .
