Why does my nether portal keep taking me to the same place?
probably because your overworld portal and nether portal have the wrong cords, because for one block in the nether you go 8 in the overworld so look at your cords in the nether and line them up with the overworld cords of your overworld portal and it should work if you are playing java or bedrock.
