Perseverance shows God that we are serious in our prayer. God’s providence will come about! Have faith that God hears our prayers and will respond at the precise time it will benefit His divine will most! Watch God at work in our prayer life by understanding His response to our petitions.

“Now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV). Salvation is a free gift from God our heavenly Father. God gives us salvation based on what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross. We accept and receive it by believing.

What is a persistent prayer?

Because persistent prayer positions us to experience God’s best. Praying to God does not inform him of our need or change his character. Rather, it positions us to receive what his grace intends to give. When we pray, the Holy Spirit is able to work in our lives in ways he cannot otherwise.

Is it possible to stop praying every day?

When a Christian makes it a habit to pray every day, he or she experiences the benefits of communing with God on such an intimate level. There are times however, that no matter how faithful you are to God and how strong your walk with the Lord is, prayer is simply difficult. So difficult in fact, you may want to just stop praying all together.

Will God answer my prayers when they don’t come?

Prayer doesn’t always yield the answer you want, but an answer will come even if it comes eventually. Jesus said that God would not leave your prayers hanging in the balance, he will answer your prayers. We simply have to have patience, faith, and trust in God’s perfect timing.

We still need to pray during this time because prayer goes far beyond making requests to God. It’s about connecting with Him and aligning our will to His. It’s in this type of prayer where we really see change occur not only in our situation but more importantly in our hearts.

How can we wait patiently on God to answer our prayers?

We can wait patiently on God to answer our prayers when we understand God heard us the first time we prayed. Think of Daniel from the Bible. For three weeks Daniel prayed and fasted for God to answer his prayer and he did not stop praying until he received an answer.
