Why do I like Lord Krishna?

Krishna as a Teacher He led a very simple life with meaningful life lessons. In the battlefield, Krishna did not fight physically and gave Arjuna practical and tactful ways. His teachings are not only restricted to India or Hinduism but to many across the world.

It is believed that Krishna was born in a dungeon of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on this day at the clock struck midnight. Krishna is the god of love, tenderness and compassion.

Why do we see Lord Krishna in our dreams?

Lord Krishna is part of each of our life. The part of our life which we can call as the divine essence. The divine essence is within everyone of us. Who ever we see in the dream, we see him/her because we accept that person as part of our life. Lord Krishna guides each of us in life.

So even when Krishna was present on this planet in Vrindavan in India five thousand years ago and was enjoying there with His cowherd friends and the gopis most people could not understand that He was the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Is Krishna covered by the curtain of Yoga Maya?

Even the demigods like Lord Brahma and Lord Indra became confused and could not recognize Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the prayers of Kunti in the Srimad-Bhagavatam(1.8.18) it is said that the Lord is covered by the curtain of yoga-mayaand thus ordinary people cannot understand Him.

Was Krishna manifest to everyone when he was present?

But actually He was not manifest to everyone. When Krishna was present there were only a few people who could understand Him to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In the assembly of Kurus, when Sisupala spoke against Krishna being elected president of the assembly, Bhisma supported Him and proclaimed Him to be the Supreme God.
