You might just be going through a phase where you think you are really obsessed with something and then you lose interest. This is normal for many people. Sometimes you need to just keep trying new activities/hobbies so you can figure out which one makes you happy and if it is one you want to stick with.

Once I became interested in spiders, it quickly became an obsession. I went to the library and checked out over 20 books on tarantula spiders.

Years ago I was diagnosed with OHD–Obsessive Hobby Disorder. Apparently its rare, really rare. Mostly this is because the acronym and diagnosis was made up specifically to apply to me and from what I understand does not apply to anyone else.
