Why are English footballers overrated?

After the Euros, it’s instilled in the minds of the people that the English players are overrated. But, there were many factors involved in the poor showing like wrong team selection, wrong style of play, poor form of most players and all. It doesn’t mean that the English team lacks quality at world-level.
