Who is managing Nifty BeES?

Nifty BeES, the first ETF in India, is being introduced by BENCHMARK, an Asset Management Company on January 8, 2002. Nifty BeES trades on the Capital Market segment of NSE. Each Nifty BeES unit is 1/10th of the S&P CNX Nifty Index value.

Is it safe to invest in Nifty BeES?

Since it is linked to the stock market, Nifty BeEs are not as safe as a bank FD or even a debt fund. But it is safer than midcap or small cap stocks as it invests in top 50 large-cap companies in India.

How does Nifty BeES pay dividend?

The fund is managed by the fund house since its an ETF of the index nifty they will be holding nifty 50 stocks correspondingly as any other index mutual fund. So when the companies declare dividend the fund house receives it and they declare their dividend accordingly to clients holding the ETF.

Nifty bees GS from the name itself is an exchange traded fund which is managed by goldman sach .The fund is managed by the fund house since its an ETF of the index nifty they will be holding nifty 50 stocks correspondingly as any other index mutual fund.

Who decides the dividend paid in NIFTY bees?

Nifty BeEs is maintained by Goldman Sachs, hence the trustees of GS decide the dividend that gets paid out. What is niftybees fund?

The fund constitutes of all the Nifty 50 stocks. Similar to NIFTY 50 Index, so NIFTY BEES are also based on the performance of Nifty 50 stocks, Same ETF is available with Reliance, Edelweiss, Kotak and by other funds also, NIFTY BEES, check my Bio for more info. How does Goldman Sachs buy Nifty bees?

To explain in simpler terms, Goldman Sachs has a computer program which takes your money and uses it to buy the equivalent number of all 50 stocks that the component of Nifty Index. Each single share of Nifty BeES is priced at 1/10th of the Nifty Index.
