Who are eligible for Ntse scholarship?

Only students studying in class 10 can apply for the NTSE Scholarship. Should not be more than 18 years of age. Must be studying in a recognized school/board of education. Candidates who are studying under open distance learning are also eligible to apply.

Can we give NTSE in 12th?

Ans. No, NTSE Examination is not for students of Class 12th. This exam is conducted by NCERT only for students from Class 10th.

An NTSE scholar can pass the admission test of a college and get direct entry to it. Qualifying the scholarship exam is an added advantage when you apply for jobs. What is the age limit for NTSE exam?

This examination is conducted for students from Class X. The candidate can take up the examination only if he/she is an Indian national or Indian origin person studying abroad. The upper age limit for appearing in NTSE examination is 18 years.

What is the eligibility for NTSE Stage 2?

NTSE stage 2 is a national level examination conducted by NCERT. Indian students studying abroad in class 10 can appear directly in the NTSE stage 2. However, they have to fulfil certain criteria listed below. The age of a student must be below 18 years. He/she has obtained at least 60\% marks in class 9th annual examination.

He/she has obtained at least 60\% marks in class 9th annual examination. Students have to appear in the exam at a centre in India at their own cost.

Which schools can apply for NTSE from which state?

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Sainik School students can apply for NTSE from the state where their school is located. There will be no domicile restrictions for them.
