What is the difference between the Getty Villa and the Getty Museum?
Getty Center Museum is a more general art museum, whereas the Getty Villa specializes in a very specific historic period. Personally I like the Getty Villa better, esp. the garden of the Getty Villa. The Getty Center has better views, but I am not too excited about it’s art collection.
How long does it take to go through the LACMA?
If you only have an hour or two (or can’t stand being in a museum for longer than that), LACMA is perfect. The temporary shows are easy to do in an hour.
