Few movies need sequels, but the ones that rake in an abundance of cash at the box office will almost certainly get them, like it or not. And once studios/producers start sequelizing, it’s hard to stop. This is how “Trail of the Pink Panther” happens.

Why did Disney stop making sequel movies?
