So here are my top 5 reasons for loving my students.

  • They Make Me Laugh.
  • They are Endearing.
  • They Teach Me Things.
  • They Humble Me.
  • They Make Me a Better Person.

How do you show your love for students?

Five things to start doing to show appropriate affection for your students

  1. Make eye contact while smiling.
  2. Use appropriate physical touch.
  3. Create quick moments of quality time.
  4. Encourage the kids by calling out good things.
  5. Write down one thing with one student that you appreciate after every hour.

Why do you love your students?

What I love about my students: The fact that even on my worst of days my students can cheer me up instantly. They get excited about the smallest things like getting a stamp for winning a game. They love telepathy game or word lotto even though the games are so simple.

Love sees teaching as an art where we explore different ways of connecting to subject matter and to students. Love brings patience and understanding, which are so important in teaching. Do they need to love kids? Compassion allows us to see ourselves in the student, even the student who we find is hard to relate to.

They feel good when they are learning new things, even though they may occasionally become frustrated when the material is challenging.
