What type of drug is Trexall?

Methotrexate belongs to a class of drugs known as antimetabolites. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells and suppressing the immune system.

Is leucovorin a chemotherapy drug?

Leucovorin is not a chemotherapy drug itself, however it is used in addition to these chemotherapy drugs to enhance anti-cancer effects (with fluorouracil) or to help prevent or lessen side effects (with methotrexate).
