What is the procedure for NIT admission?
In order to get admission to NIT UG courses, candidates will have to qualify in JEE Mains entrance exam. JEE main result consists of normalized scores for all the three subjects as well as the total normalized score secured in the exam. After the declaration of result, candidates will be assigned All India Rank (AIR).

How to get admission in NITs?
Admission to undergraduate engineering/architecture programs for candidates from India at NITs shall include the performance in the class 12 exam/other Qualifying Examination and score in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). Counselling for admission to NIT will start immediately after the declaration of JEE (Main) result.
What is the eligibility criteria of IIT JAM for nits admission?
Every year, CCMN releases the NITs Admission Eligibility Criteria for IIT JAM Qualified students. According to the 2021 notification, candidates should have: – Valid JAM Score Card of the year 2021. The candidates must have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA or 60\% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA or 55\% in case of SC/ST/PwD.
How are the seats allocated in NITs?
