The University of Texas System developed the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP) to expand the admission options available to students interested in enrolling at The University of Texas at Austin, the system’s flagship university.
Does everyone get cap at UT?

In conclusion: The CAP program is a great experience. It isn’t for everyone and it won’t fully prepare you for the rigor of UT. Having said that all the CAP students I met have an extra drive and pride to walk by that tower every day. They are some of the hardest workers I know.
Is UT CAP program binding?

How long does the CAP program take?
How long does it take to process an application and determine eligibility? Within four to six weeks of receiving your complete application, BAR will review the application and all supporting documentation to determine eligibility.

Students with special circumstances related to enrolling this fall, who wish to request a deferment to a future term, should submit an appeal. New domestic undergraduate students may submit an appeal to the Office of Admissions. New graduate students should contact their department directly about options to defer.
How do you qualify for CAP services?

- You must be the registered owner of the vehicle with the vehicle title issued in your name.
- You must not have previously participated in CAP with the same vehicle.
- You must pay a co-payment toward the total cost of diagnosis and emissions-related repairs.
