What is integrated degree course?

An integrated course is a combination of two courses in one course which students can pursue after class 12. Integrated courses can be two bachelor level courses combined or undergraduate courses combined with postgraduate courses. These courses provide a joint degree of two courses.

Dual degrees, also known as double degrees, are courses which award two degrees instead of one, and in less time than it would have taken to study the two degrees consecutively.

The first difference is that in an integrated course, you get both the Bachelor and Master’s degree after 5 years of duration. Generally the Bachelor level course in Engineering is of 4 years and the master level is of 2 years more. So by integrated course you save 1 year and get both the degree at once.

Another difference is in the approach of studies. The dual degree is done in such a way that both the faculties teaching the course go with their regular schedule and complete the desired course in the same span of time.
