What is injection timing?
Injection timing, also called spill timing, is the moment when diesel fuel enters the cylinder during the combustion phase. The timing of the pump determines when it will inject fuel into the cylinder as the piston reaches the BTDC point.
What is injection angle?
The injection angle of the fuel means the distribution of the fuel inside the combustion chamber that define its combustion characteristics. The injection angle differ from engine to another, but which angle gives the optimum performance in diesel or gasoline engine.
Why is injection timing important?
Injection timing is an important engine parameter, which significantly affects the odorous emissions. If injection starts earlier, the initial air temperature and pressure are lower so the ignition delay would increase.
How do I adjust my injection timing?
There are several ways you can adjust injection timing, depending on the type of engine you have and how old it is. The most common ways to adjust injection timing are programming the ECM, adjusting the fuel injection pump, replacing the camshaft, and replacing the cam followers or gaskets.
What is Z track method?
The Z-track method is a type of IM injection technique used to prevent tracking (leakage) of the medication into the subcutaneous tissue (underneath the skin). During the procedure, skin and tissue are pulled and held firmly while a long needle is inserted into the muscle.
What is diesel pump?
A diesel pump, which is usually referred to as a diesel fuel injection pump, is a somewhat complex mechanical piece of equipment. It is the mechanism that is used to pump fuel from the fuel tank into the carburetor, so it does just as the name suggests.
What is E carburetor?
Whereas an e-carburettor is an improvised form of current petrol carburettor technology that takes fuel combustion to the next level and minimises emission to the level making the machine compatible to the highest levels.
