The Nasdaq sold off on Wednesday. The reason: Investors recoiled after a sudden pop in bond yields and higher-than-expected inflation figures. The Nasdaq Composite fell 1.7\%, but the other indexes felt the pain, too. The consumer-price index rose 0.9\% month over month for October, higher than the expected 0.6\% rise.
