What happened to Cinderheart?
She was apprenticed as Cinderpaw to Cloudtail, but before passing her warrior assessment, she broke her leg after falling from the Sky Oak.

The Apprentice’s Quest. When Sparkpaw fell out of a tree and hurt her leg, Alderpaw remembers what he heard Cinderheart had the same thing happen to her, yet she had broken her leg and had to spend moons in the medicine cat den before she could use it again.

Shortly after, Leafpool learns that Cinderpelt has been reborn as one of Sorreltail’s kits, Cinderkit, to have a second chance to live the life of a warrior.

Firestar told Sandstorm that he loved her in A Dangerous Path. When Firestar earned his nine lives Spottedleaf had given him the gift of love and told him to use it well on Sandstorm. The two have remained mates and stayed very close throughout the rest of the series.

Answer: VickyHolmes: Yes! Cinderpelt was very much in love with Firestar, but she knew nothing could ever happen because (a) she’s a medicine cat, so forbidden to have relationship, and (b) Firestar is Sandstorm’s mate. Cinderpelt is one of the few medicine cats to play by the rules!

Cinderheart had even expressed interest in having kits. When Cinderheart learned of her past life as Cinderpelt, she decided to embrace that and be more of a medicine cat.

When Cinderheart goes to StarClan, she will either go as Cinderheart, or as two separate cats, Cinderheart and Cinderpelt. The latter is proven true in The Last Hope, when Cinderpelt’s spirit separates from Cinderheart.
Does Cinderheart have kits with Lionblaze?
Kate has stated that Cinderheart does have kits with Lionblaze after the events of The Last Hope. She is contradicted by Vicky, who says that Lionblaze and Cinderheart have not had any kits yet, and they are enjoying “their childfree days of early married life.”
