Paul is often considered to be the most important person after Jesus in the history of Christianity. His epistles (letters) have had enormous influence on Christian theology, especially on the relationship between God the Father and Jesus, and on the mystical human relationship with the divine.

What was the Apostle Paul’s personality?

What can we learn from the life of the Apostle Paul?

I recently re-read John MacArthur’s book Called to Lead: 26 Leadership Lessons from the Life of the Apostle Paul, in which he wrote “If you want a human model of leadership, I don’t think you’ll ever find a better model than Paul. Paul is my hero as a leader”. There are many leadership lessons we can learn from Paul.

What happened to Paul the Apostle in the Book of acts?

Paul the Apostle. He was struck blind, but after three days his sight was restored by Ananias of Damascus and Paul began to preach that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah and the Son of God. Approximately half of the book of Acts deals with Paul’s life and works.

Was Paul a prisoner?

Paul was a prisoner, and prisoners have no authority. That was Paul’s situation in Acts 27 when Paul was on a ship sailing to Rome. Yet, those on the ship listened to him. He had influence. MacArthur tells us that if you can show people you truly have their best interests at heart, they’ll follow you.
