What did Lord Krishna say to Arjuna?

Lord Krishna Reminds Arjuna Of His Duty As A Warrior If you will not fight this righteous war, then you will fail in your duty, lose your reputation, and incur sin. People will talk about your disgrace forever. To the honored, dishonor is worse than death.

What does Krishna say to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita?

Krishna emphasised on two terms : Karma and Dharma. He told Arjun that this was a righteous war; a war of Dharma. Dharma is the way of righteousness or a set of rules and laws laid down. The Kauravas were on the side of Adharma and had broken rules and laws and hence Arjun would have to do his Karma to uphold Dharma.

Why does Krishna tell Arjuna to fight?

Because krishna knows that arjuna is a kshatriya or warrior and has to fight to get back his kingdom to do his occupational duty of administrator or king to rule the kingdom or people.

Why did Arjuna choose Krishna as his guru?

There was a reason why Arjun choose Krishna, he was the person who provided the intelligence,the guidance, and he knew the weakness of every warrior in the Kaurava camp. Apart from that the bonding between Arjun and Krishna, goes a long way back too. The entire concept of Nar and Naryana, and the former needing the guidance from the latter.

Why does Arjuna say he is confused about his duty?

Arjuna says here that he is confused about his duty. So the real point here is that Arjuna does not know what his duty is so is surrendering to Krishna and saying to Krishna “Please instruct me.” Arjuna is now Krishna’s disciple, a soul surrenderd to Krishna and he will now do whatever Krishna tells him to do.

How did Sri Krishna and Arjuna find out about Abhimanyu’s death?

Thus conversing, Sri Krishna and Arjuna entered their own camp and saw all the Pandavas plunged in great grief. Then, with great fortitude, King Yudhishthira informed Arjuna of the death of Abhimanyu and the circumstances surrounding it.

How can we approach Krishna directly?

Krishna in Bhagavad-gita is instructing us to surrender to Him and to let Him instruct us as at to what our duty is. In Arjuna’s case he was speaking with Krishna directly, but for us Krishna advises that we approach Him through His bona fide spiritual master. The spiritual master can let us know what we should do, what is actually our duty.
