What did Frieza do to Krillin?

As you can plainly see, Frieza used his energy to kill Krillin, not Telekinesis. He fired his energy into Krillin (injecting it). You can even see it on his chest when he’s first picked up off the ground. There’s a shiny spot in the middle of his chest that slowly fades.
