What is grade S in btech?
The S grade denotes satisfactory performance and completion of a course. The U grade denotes unsatisfactory performance of a course and if it is a mandatory course, the student will have to register for the course until he/she obtains the S grade.

For all courses listed as research, the only permissible grades are Satisfactory (S), Unsatisfactory (U), and Progress (P). Though an Incomplete (I) grade may be assigned, a final grade must be submitted during the following term.
