  1. Loving-kindness meditation.

What is movement meditation?

Movement meditation is not your usual meditation where you sit still and focus on your breath. Even your breathing, heartbeat, and other inner sensations will be better noticed when you are mindful of the body. Movement meditation focuses on the movements of the body rather than the goal of the movement.

What is the difference between physical and spiritual breathing?

While physical breathing is automatic, spiritual breathing is a conscious act – imaginatively inhaling the pure energies of the Holy Spirit on the in breath and exhaling all that is yet to be redeemed on the out breath. The Buddhist Tonglen practice, popularized in the Shamballa tradition, is a practice of compassionate breathing.
