What are the charges for selling a share?

In general, a full-service broker charges a brokerage between 0.03\% – 0.60\% of the transaction volume while trading in stocks. On the other hand, the discount brokers charge a flat fee (fixed rate of Rs 10 or Rs 20 per trade) on intraday. The majority of discount brokers also do not charge any fee on delivery trading.

What if I buy CNC and sell same day?

CNC code does not restrict you from selling the stock the same day if desired. But the sell quantity cannot be more than the buy quantity. There is no penalty if you sell the shares on the same day.

Does Zerodha charge for selling shares?

Pay flat Rs 20 per trade for Intra-day and F&O. Zerodha offers brokerage-free equity delivery trades. Thus, if you sell the shares that you hold in your Demat account, there are no brokerage changes. However, you still have to pay taxes and a Demat debit transaction fee.

This is charged by the depository (CDSL) and depository participant (Zerodha). ₹30 + GST per pledge request. ₹20 plus GST will be charged for OFS / buyback / takeover / delisting orders placed through Console. ₹25 or 0.03\% of the transfer value (whichever is higher).

How much is the Demat amount in Zerodha?

₹13.5 per scrip (irrespective of quantity), on the day, is debited from the demat account when stocks are sold. This is charged by the depository (CDSL) and depository participant (Zerodha).

What are the transaction charges in BSE?

BSE has revised transaction charges in XC, XD, XT, Z and ZP groups to Rs.10,000 per crore w.e.f 01.01.2016. BSE has revised transaction charges in SS and ST groups to Rs.1,00,000 per crore of gross turnover. Additional charges of ₹20 per order: A) for orders placed through our support/dealing desk.
