Who needs Udyam registration?

The existing enterprises registered prior to 30th June,2020, shall continue to be valid only for a period up to the 31st day of December, 2021. An enterprise registered with any other organisation under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises shall register itself under Udyam Registration.

What is the difference between MSME and Udyam registration?

Udyam registration is the replacement of the old process of the Udyog Aadhaar registration for registering under MSME. Whereas for Udyam it is the single window, paperless process, no additional documents or certificates required in order to register under MSME.
