Should I do my homework in pen or pencil?

The homework you hand in must be neat, and must either be typed or written in pen (not pencil!). (Note: “written over without erasing” includes not just superimposing one letter written in ink on another, but writing something in pencil and then tracing over it in pen.

However, if you keep the pencil dry and have access to several 9-volt batteries, and are very patient, you can stick weld with a pencil.

We aren’t allowed to use a pencil for signing because it can be altered or changed. I’m always for convenience so I use pens more often. As we know, using a pencil for writing is a bit of a hassle since you need to sharpen the tip of it when it becomes blunt over and over again and doing so is a waste of time.

Pencil can get smudged well after it is written. That’s the struggles of being a left-handed person like me, but a new problem is that I have to find pen that is good for my left hand. Erasing pencil writing can cause tears in the paper. I think it depends on the paper and how hard you press your eraser on the lead writing.
