Is the DJI Phantom 4 Pro discontinued?

DJI has officially discontinued the Phantom 4 Pro and Phantom 4 Pro+. Some stock is still available at many retailers, but no new machines are being built. The Phantom 4 Pro V2.

Is the Phantom 4 Pro worth it?

Thanks to its 20MP 1-inch sensor and ability to shoot video up to 4K video at 60fps, this is definitely a pro-level drone. Of course, it’s not the cheapest or smallest model in DJI’s range either, but all of these features, combined with its power and speed, mean it remains a compelling option for drone pilots.

How high will a Phantom 4 Pro fly?

It loses some of its object-detection abilities, but in this setting, the Phantom can fly up to 20 meters per second (about 45 mph). It can also fly up to about 6000 m (19,685 feet) up, although DJI’s software limits the drone to flying just 400 feet.

What will replace the DJI Phantom 4 Pro?

DJI Mavic 3 Pro to replace the Phantom 4 Pro and likely also the Inspire 2 drone. The new Mavic 3 is expected to arrive in two versions, a regular and a DJI Mavic 3 Pro. Both versions will make the Phantom 4 Pro obsolete, but the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is even expected to replace the aging DJI Inspire 2.

Is the Phantom 4 Pro V2 0 discontinued?

However, in April 2019, DJI announced that the Phantom 4 Pro V2. 0 would be discontinued until further notice. It turned out that there was a shortage of parts from a supplier, so DJI couldn’t manufacture any more of these drones. As of 6 January 2020, this drone is again available for orders.

Is the Mavic 2 Pro better than the Phantom 4 Pro?

The Mavic 2 Pro’s 4K/30fps at 100 Mbps is slightly less powerful than the Phantom’s 4K/60fps at 100Mbps. It also has a Burst Mode, but up to 5fps, instead of the Phantom’s 14fps. When it comes to storage, a 128GB microSD card can be fitted into both drones, while the Mavic 2 Pro also has 8GB of internal storage.

What’s the difference between Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Advanced?

The Phantom 4 Advanced has a longer flight time than Phantom 4 at about 30 minutes in ideal conditions, compared to the Phantom 4’s 28 minutes. If you want to fly in Sport mode, you’ll get a top speed of 45mph, but your flight times will generally be less and obstacle avoidance will be disabled.
