What percentage does Skillshare take?
Each month, Skillshare allocates 30\% of membership revenue towards a royalty pool for teachers. The royalty pool is then distributed amongst teachers based on their percentage of the total minutes-watched in their classes.
Skillshare pay between $0.05 to $0.10 per minute watched. For example, if you are a teacher and your students watched 5,000 minutes of your class in the first month, then you would earn between $250 to $500.
Can we teach on Skillshare?

Do I need to be a paying member of Skillshare to become a teacher, or to keep teaching? No, you do not need to have a paid membership to teach on Skillshare. As before, new and existing teachers may login and teach on Skillshare without paying anything.

How do Skillshare teachers get paid?
Skillshare teachers earn revenue based on a royalty system. Teachers are paid from the royalty pool based on their share of the paid minutes watched by students (both paying members and those in free trials) across the platform each month.
