Yes it’s a really good source to use. Everything you have is compatible as well.
How do I make sure my computer parts fit in case?
A case usually lists it’s capacity for fans, radiators, drives and motherboard form factor. All one has to do is make sure they don’t have too many of each category, or that their components are smaller than the maximum stated size. Other factors to consider are cooler and GPU height.
Are all PC parts compatible?
There’s nothing worse than ordering a bunch of PC parts online, receiving the delivery and finding out that the CPU you’ve ordered isn’t compatible with the motherboard. You won’t be able to install an Intel CPU into an AMD socket motherboard, for example.
Will any motherboard fit in my case?
Virtually all full towers can support all standard motherboard sizes, and mid towers can support ATX and smaller motherboards. If you are buying a micro-ATX motherboard, it would be best to go with a micro-ATX case so that you can utilize the small motherboard size to the fullest and have a snug little machine.
Is PCPartPicker wattage accurate?
Respectable. It’s one of the more accurate calculators, yet still overestimates. 550W is way more than enough. You could even run the system on a high quality 450w PSU.
Is PCPartPicker a good site to find PC parts?
From my experience, PCPartPicker is a great website, as it allows you to create an account to save any parts list you’ve created so that you don’t have to remember them. It also has deep filters that make searching for PC parts a heck of a lot easier, so I really like this website.
Are motherboards with integrated processors compatible with PCPartPicker?
Motherboards with integrated processors are often of great value for home servers or embedded systems, but many are not listed on PCPartPicker. Compatability checker isn’t perfect.
Does PCPP use referral links for their parts?
Their Shop selection is very wide too, especially im USA, Canada, and Germany. All major Hubs except Ebay, which is a tiny bit different and probably doesn’t use referral links which makes it uninsteresting for PCPP. I honestly never knew that they used referral links for their parts.
Does eBay have an affiliate program for PC part picker?
Although, the last pc I’m pretty sure I bought everything without the direct links from pc part picker. eBay does have an affiliate program. However we don’t list eBay listings right now due to the difficulty in vetting the large number of sellers, accuracy of product data (manufacturer, part number), possibly transient items, return policies, etc.
