Is NTSE only for Class 10 students?

NTSE is only held for 10th standard students and the exam is conducted in two different stages – Stage I and II. The first stage exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by all the Indian states and UTs. On the other hand, NTSE stage II is conducted for those students who clear the first stage.

Can we give NTSE after 10th?

The candidates who wish to give NTSE exam in class X must have cleared the class IX examination from a recognized board. The students who have completed/appearing for the class 10th examination and are registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) can appear for the NTSE exam.

Is syllabus reduced for NTSE 2021?

Answer: The NTSE 2021 syllabus is the same for NTSE stage 1 and stage 2. However the difficulty level of the questions will increase.
