Is NTA score and marks same?

Now Raw score /marks are the scores you got out of 300. Say that is 250. But the NTA score and Percentile are Exactly the same numbers which indicate the percentage of students who scored less than or equal to your score, which is 250. Your NTA Score (or Percentile) is 91 (100-9).

Is NTA score only the percentile?

Fornormalization across sections, NTA shall use the percentile equivalence. Percentile Scores: Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. Basically the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.

Is NTA score important?

NTA score is used to determine the merit list of JEE main exam. If a candidate has appeared in more than one session of JEE main, the best of the NTA scores will be considered for preparation of all India ranking. Overall merit will be prepared by merging NTA scores of all shifts of all days.

What is average NTA score in JEE?

70 is an average percentile in JEE Main. Is 150-200 a good score in JEE Main? 150 to 200 can be considered as an average score in JEE Main.

Is NTA score and percentile same in JEE mains?

Yes, NTA and percentile are exactly the same score which an individual has got. Let’s say, 100 students have appeared for JEE Main exam and from that nine students got more than 250 out of 300. Then your raw score will be 250, and your NTA score or percentile will be 91 (100-9).

  1. P is the NTA score;
  2. N is the total number of students who have appeared for the exam;
  3. P is also the percentage of students below or equal to your marks;
  4. (100 – P) is the percentage of students above your marks;
  5. (([100 – P]/100) * (N+1))) is the number of students above your marks.

Is the NTA score of 20 good?

Approximate rank at 20 percentile would be : 695,208 which is not so good rank, at this percentile you have very degraded chances of having good colleges with good branch even you have degraded chances of having tier 3 colleges with even not so good branch.

Is High NTA score good?

A good score in JEE Main can be 250+. As NTA is announcing JEE Main 2022 results in the form of percentile, you can check the good percentile here. According to the previous years’ trends, the good JEE Main percentile or score required to appear for JEE Advanced was high.
