A worthy upgrade over its predecessor. The Nikon D3200 is a subtle, yet important update over its predecessor. Sporting a high-resolution 24.2 MP DX-format CMOS sensor, full HD video recording capability and a lightweight camera body, the D3200 is a very capable DSLR camera for beginner photographers.
Is Nikon D750 good for beginners?
The Nikon D750 — and really most full-frame cameras — aren’t for beginners that will be easily discouraged by a lot of buttons and dials. Why is the Nikon D750 so good?
The Nikon D750 is a remarkable camera. It’s Nikon’s lightest FX camera other than the Df, and offers fantastic AF performance and image quality in any light. Is D750 still worth buying?
The Nikon Camera D750 is definitely not new. Despite the Nikon D750’s older age, it’s still a really awesome camera and I hate to see it discounted just because it dropped in 2014. I actually consider its age a bonus at this point because it means the price point has gone down, but it still has all the same features.

In my opinion, not only is D750 worth buying in 2021 but its price also dropped and now costs less than $1500, which is a steal! Yes, the technology has advanced but many photographers will likely argue that you could easily use this Nikon DSLR for the next few years.

Should I upgrade to the Nikon D7100 or D7200?
If on the other hand, you truly “need” to upgrade your camera body for one with better construction, weather sealed, and the ability to use non-AF-S lenses, the Nikon D7100 or D7200 are fantastic cameras. If based on image quality alone, I recommend sticking with the D3200.
Should I buy new lenses for my Nikon D3200?
Buy new lenses, I’ll stick with Nikon for consistency. Bag yourself a Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f2.8 lens, used preferably. With the new VR model out the market for these will be coming down. Your D3200 will see it more as a 35-105mm but the quality will be a huge jump from kit lenses you may have.
Is the Nikon D500 the new 7D Mark II?
Nikon just released the D500, their flagship DX format body. It’s packed with features and made to rival the Canon 7D MK II, although the 7D Mark II was released in 2014. That’s usually the pattern I’ve been seeing with Canon and Nikon.
