Is NEET required for engineering?

NEET is not required for Engineering: JEE or Joint entrance exam for engineering is sufficient for admission in engineering colleges.

Is NEET and JEE same?

National testing agency (NTA) which is currently responsible for conducting NEET hasn’t put any limits on the number of attempts. So you can appear for neet as many times, condition is only that you meet the criteria.

Is NEET for medical?

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges. The examination, which offers 90,000 seats in MBBS and BDS Colleges of India, is conducted in the month of May every year.

No, it is not compulsory but it is combined entrance exam and conducted by CBSE so it has value all over India by this exam you can take admission in any engineering college of India.

Is NEET a computer-based exam or offline exam?

National Testing Agency (NTA) has previously released a notification confirming that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) along with JEE Main, UGC NET, CMAT, and GPAT would be conducted in online mode as a Computer Based Test (CBT). However now the online exam stands cancelled. Instead, it will be an offline pen and paper based test.

How much marks are needed to qualify for NEET exam?

– General category candidates must obtain at least 50\% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in Class 12 or equivalent exam – While SC/ST/OBC aspirants need to secure at least 40\% to pass 10+2 and appear for the NEET 2021 exam – PwD candidates must obtain 45\% to pass the board exam and take the NEET exam

  • Click on the link for NEET result
  • Enter roll number,date of birth and submit
  • Results will appear on the screen
  • Download it,and take a print out for future reference.
  • How to qualify NEET?

    Candidates have to be qualified in Physics,Chemistry,Biology/Biotechnology,and English individually in the qualifying examination which is 10+2 or equivalent,as per NEET 2021 eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates belonging from the Unreserved category must have scored a minimum required percentage of 50\% marks in Physics,Chemistry,and Biology/Biotechnology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates should have scored 40\% of passing marks in Class 12 in Physics,Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
  • Medical aspirants with locomotor disability of lower limbs must have secured a minimum of 45\% marks for General-PH and 40\% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH in aggregate in Physics,Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
