Is freelancer halal in Islam?

Freelancing is just like other jobs around except that you will have greater freedom of opportunity. So, unless there are major issues against Islamic principle regarding the type of service provided, it is supposed to be halal. And Allah knows best.

What Quran says about halal income?

This Qur’ānic verse explicitly indicates that consumption of Haram food and income induces a lot of mischiefs in human behaviour. Thus, it is disallowed to eat unlawful food and income. Allah has created most of the things halal for human beings except a few that are clearly declared in the Qur’ān.

What does Allah say about haram money?

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reported to have said: “Every flesh nourished by haram deserves fire”(Hadith Shu`abul iman,5521). All these Prophetic Traditions urge Muslim to abstain from earning and consuming illegal wealth. If anyone earn illegal wealth or consumes it, he will be punished in the Day of Judgment.

Halal (Lawful) and Haram (Forbidden) Halal is a Qur’anic term that means permitted, allowed, lawful, or legal. Its opposite is haram (forbidden, unlawful or illegal). Determining what is halal and haram is one matter that, prior to the advent of Islam, over which the peoples of the world were very far astray and utterly confused.

[7:33] In the above verse Allah has declared the deeds which are haram and at end of this verse Allah said that it is also haram to claim anything haram which is not considered as haram by Almighty Allah. Islam is not only the religion but it is the most proper way of living, based on certain rules and regulations.

Is renaming a Haram thing a sin?

Renaming a haram thing or changing its form while retaining its essence is a devious tactic, since both actions are of no consequence as long as the thing and its essence remain unchanged. Thus, when some people invent new terms in order to deal in usury or to consume alcohol, the sin of dealing in usury and drinking remains.

Islam is the religion based on certain rules, and whoever breaks the rules will fall into the category of disbelievers, because the rules are set by the Creator of this universe. In religion Islam, there are things declared as Halal and there are things which are forbidden and declared as Haram.
