Is CYRAMZA a chemotherapy drug?

Tumours get this supply by inducing the growth of new blood vessels. This process is called angiogenesis (an´-gee-o-jen´-i-sis). CYRAMZA works by blocking angiogenesis and helps starve the tumour of oxygen and other nutrients. CYRAMZA is not chemotherapy; it is considered a biologic antiangiogenic therapy.
