A larger case has the potential to have more, higher CFM fans and better cycle air through the case to remove heat from the components. TL;dr: A case’s cooling is generally determined by it’s ability to remove hot air from around the components without obstruction.

Does case airflow really matter?

It does to a certain extent but it greatly depends on the purpose of the build and the components involved. If you’re building a high-performance gaming tower, then you’ll want a larger case with better airflow to properly cool the higher performance components like the CPU and (especially) the video card.

How important is airflow?

Air flow is an important factor in the cooling equation of a custom gaming PC. Without proper air circulation, the vital components inside are subject to complications from overheating. The basics of airflow can be narrowed down to the fans which produce the movement in air inside the case.

yea improper airflow in the case and dust can cause overheating so lean your case add a side intake fan if you have a space for it i the case..generally a front intake a top and rear exhaust and a side intake makes the case cooler..
