Is 12th marks important for NIT?

According to the new rules, 75\% in Class 12th exams is not mandatory to get admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. The candidates who have passed Class 12th with minimum qualifying marks can get admission in these institutes.

Is 75\% required for admission in NIT?

As per the previous year’s JEE Main eligibility criteria, 75\% criteria is removed for NIT and IIIT admissions. NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official notification at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

How much time does it take to complete Class 11 and 12 syllabus?

If you spend average of 5 hours per day and if you are already cleared with basics till 10 , then you can complete the whole syllabus in 5 or 6 months , spend the remaing time for practicing and reviewing your basics.

To be eligible for IITs,IIITs ,NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75\% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or or at least 65\% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75\% – 65 \% has been lifted off.
